Old Fort Delhi is believed to be in the same spot where the city of Indraprastha once stood. As the great Indian epic Mahabharata, Indraprastha was the capital of the Pandavas. Now it is mostly in ruins, Old Fort Delhi was once the seat number of the emperors glorious administration. Emperor Sher Shah Suri was built in Fort Humayun, having landed in the city, Dinpanah. Also known as the Purana Quila, Old Fort is more or less rectangular, in which the course is nearly two kilometers. According to legend, Sher Shah was able to complete the construction of Purana Quila in life.

It was then closed, or at least refurbished by Humayun. Infact, the south gate of the fort known as Humayun Darwaza. This port and Talaqui Darwaza (gateway prohibited) on the combines Islamic North Chhatris warhead with Hindu and accessories. Last but not least, is the spectacular light and sound of the Purana Quila, which has 5,000 years of history of the city of Delhi. The nine pools come to life in the light and take you on a tour of Delhi's royal past.
